INTRODUCTION 1. TiVo Inc. filed an unopposed request for extension of a waiver1 of Section 76.640(b)(4)(iii) of the Commission’s rules.2 Section 76.640(b)(4)(iii) requires that set-top boxes provided by cable operators include an interface to enable home networking of consumer-owned devices to set-top boxes leased from cable operators for whole-home viewing and recording on those consumer owned devices.3 For the reasons set forth when the Bureau initially granted a waiver to TiVo, Inc.,4 we grant the extension request. 1 The Bureau sought comment on TiVo Inc.’s request on November 22, 2016. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 1.3 and 76.7 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 1.3, 76.7, that TiVo Inc.’s request for waiver of Section 76.640(b)(4)(iii) IS GRANTED until December 31, 2018. 3.
