The workshop will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Agenda: ? Welcome and opening remarks ? Getting to initial commitments ? Review of bidding rules o Preferred option and fall back options o Bid option hierarchy in the clock phase ? Walk through of the initial commitment bidding software o Login o Navigation o Information available during the preview period o Making an initial commitment ? Initial commitments to setting the initial clearing target ? Break ? Question and answer session ? Preview of the clock phase bidding software We remind potential auction participants that the period for making an initial commitment in the reverse auction of the broadcast incentive auction (Auction 1001) will open at 10:00 a.m. ET on March 28, 2016, and close at 6:00 p.m. ET on March 29, 2016. The initial commitment bidding software will be available during a preview period that will open at 10:00 a.m. ET on March 24, 2016 and remain open until the initial commitment window opens. The workshop will be held in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters in Washington, DC, and is open to the public. All attendees are advised to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to allow sufficient time to go through the security process for admission to FCC Headquarters. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register by submitting their names and company affiliations via email to auction1001@fcc.gov in order to expedite the check-in process the day of the event. Please use “Initial Commitment Workshop” as the subject line in your email.
