WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU GRANTS AWS-3 LICENSES
IN THE 1755-1780 MHZ AND 2155-2180 MHZ BANDS

On January 29, 2015, the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”) completed an
auction of Advanced Wireless Service licenses in the 1695-1710 MHz, 1755-1780 MHz and 2155-2180 
MHz bands (collectively, the “AWS-3” bands).

  After a preliminary review of the FCC long-form 
applications (FCC Form 601), 30 applications were accepted for filing.

Upon further review and examination, the applications listed in Attachment A have been found to 
be complete and in conformance with the Commission’s rules.  Furthermore, the Commission has 
received full payment, as required by Section 1.2109(a) of its rules, for the licenses listed in 
Attachment A,

there are no petitions to deny or other requests pending that would prevent grant of these 
licenses, and we find that granting the applications listed in Attachment A serves the public interest, 
convenience, and necessity.  The First AFF Public Notice indicated one applicant’s intent to seek Tribal 
Land Bidding Credits (TLBCs) for five licenses,

eligibility for which required the applicant to make, 
obtain and file pertinent certifications.

  Subsequently, the applicant amended its application to timely 
file the required certifications for two licenses
12
and we find that the applicant has established its 
eligibility for the TLBCs for the two licenses.  
Accordingly, by this Public Notice, we announce the grant of the licenses and TLBCs listed in 
Attachment A pursuant to Sections 309(a) and 309(j) of the Communications Act, 47 U.S.C. § 309(a), (j), 
and Sections 0.131 and 0.331 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.131, 0.331, because it will serve 
the public interest, convenience, and necessity.
This Public Notice includes two attachments:
