On November 2, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, Skynet Satellite Corporation's request for a modification of its space
station authorization to operate the Telstar 12 space station using an alternative spot-beam configuration to cover the United States and the
Caribbean, described as "beam configuration 2" in IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20160513-00050. Telstar 12 provides Fixed-Satellite Service from
the 109.2° W.L. orbital location using the 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.0 GHz, 14.0-14.5 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands.
