S2110SAT-STA-20171117-00158 E Effective Date: 11/30/2017Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Iridium Constellation LLC On November 30, 2017, the Satellite Division granted special temporary authority to Iridium Constellation LLC for a period of 60 days. Iridium was authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations in the 19.4-19.6 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 29.1-29.3 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands necessary to transit and maintain up to 18 of its first-generation, non-geostationary, mobile-satellite service satellites as in-orbit spares at an altitude of 763 km. Iridium was also authorized to maneuver first-generation satellites to replace other first-generation satellites on a temporary basis. EUTELSAT 172A will operate in the 5925-6425 MHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 3700-4200 MHz, 10.95-11.20 GHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz, and 12.2-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands.
