This Public Notice also serves as notification that the next CSRIC Meeting will be held on October 26. 2 The CSRIC is organized under, and operates in accordance with, the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). 3 The CSRIC’s mission is to provide advice and recommendations to the Commission to improve the security, reliability, and interoperability of the nation’s communications systems. 4 The newly-chartered CSRIC held its first meeting on Friday, June 23, at which time FCC Chairman Ajit Pai announced the topics of the working groups. 5 More information on CSRIC can be found at https://www.fcc.gov/about-fcc/advisory- committees/communications-security-reliability-and-interoperability-council.
