Modification Grant of Authority Effective Date: 10/11/2018 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On October 11, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, SES Americom's request to extend the license term of the AMC-7 space station from October 25, 2018, to February 28, 2021. AMC-7 is located at the 135° W.L. orbital location and uses the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Telemetry, tracking and command operations conducted using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz and 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20180905-00066 E S2947 Horizons-3 License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 10/11/2018 On October 11, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Horizons-3 License LLC for a period of 60 days to conduct in-orbit testing (IOT) of the Horizons 3e satellite at the 164.2º E.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz, 10.85-11.7 GHz, and 12.2-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 5925-6425 MHz, 12.92-13.25 GHz, and 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Horizons-3 is also granted authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain Horizons 3e during IOT at the 164.2º E.L. orbital location, and to drift Horizons 3e to the 169.0° E.L. orbital location upon completion of IOT, using the following center frequencies: 4197.75 MHz, 4198.25 MHz, 4198.75 MHz, and 4199.25 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 5850.0-5853.5 MHz and 6421.5-6425.0 MHz (Earth-to-space).
