The Bureau previously announced that the filing window for earth stations in the 3.7-4.2 GHz band would close on October 17, 2018. However, due to the large influx of earth station applications filed near the deadline, the International Bureau Filing System (IBFS) has experienced intermittent difficulties that have prevented some applicants from filing for license or registration. The Bureau has therefore decided to extend the filing window for an additional two weeks, through October 31, 2018, to accommodate filers who are unable to file by October 17.
