FOR SECOND FNPRM IN REVITALIZATION OF THE AM RADIO SERVICE

On October 5, 2018, the Commission adopted and released a Second Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in the Revitalization of the AM Radio Service proceeding. MB Docket No. 13-249, Second Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 18-139 (Oct. 5, 2018) (AM Revitalization SFNPRM).
  The Commission sought comment on modifications to its prior proposals regarding protection to Class A stations, as well as whether its modified proposals would change commenters’ positions on other proposals in the proceeding.  The AM Revitalization SFNPRM set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 60 and 90 days, respectively, after publication of the AM Revitalization SFNPRM in the Federal Register. See id. at 1.	

 
	By this Public Notice, the Media Bureau announces that the AM Revitalization SFNPRM was published in the Federal Register on November 20, 2018. Revitalization of the AM Radio Service, 83 Fed. Reg. 58513 (Nov. 20, 2018).
  Comments must be submitted no later than Tuesday, January 22, 2019.  Reply Comments must be submitted no later than Tuesday, February 19, 2019.  Commenters should follow the filing instructions provided in paragraphs 19 to 23 of the AM Revitalization SFNPRM. AM Revitalization SFNPRM at 9-10, paras. 19-23.
