DA 18-1192 2 November 23, 2018 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES REGION 17 (KENTUCKY) REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHZ AND 800 MHZ MEETINGS PR Docket 93-132 and WT Docket 02-378 The Region 17 (Kentucky) 700 and 800 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) will hold two consecutive planning meetings on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Beginning at 1:30 p.m., the 700 MHz RPC will convene at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, 200 Mero Street, Room C118, Frankfort, Kentucky 40622. Immediately following the 700 MHz RPC meeting, the 800 MHz RPC meeting will convene at the same location. The agenda for both meetings (700 MHz and 800 MHz) include: · Call to Order - Chair · Roll Call – Chair · Approve Meeting Minutes · Open Discussion · Adjourn Both Region 17 RPC meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 17 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that eligible public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in planning for the use of public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band within Region 17 should plan to attend.
