By this Order, the Media Bureau extends the deadlines for comments and reply comments in the above-captioned rulemaking proceeding to January 10, 2019 and February 11, 2019, respectively. 2. On October 23, 2018, the Commission released a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM) seeking comment on revisions to its cable television rate regulations. Modernization of Media Regulation Initiative: Revisions to Cable Television Rate Regulations, Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Report and Order, MB Docket Nos. 17-105, 02-144; MM Docket Nos. 92-266, 93-215; CS Docket Nos. 94-28, 96-157, FCC 18-148 (released October 23, 2018). The Commission set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments in response to the FNPRM at 30 and 60 days, respectively, after publication of the FNPRM in the Federal Register. Id. at 1, para. 1. 3. A summary of the FNPRM was published in the Federal Register on November 27, 2018. 83 FR 60804 (November 27, 2018). Accordingly, comments would have been due on or before December 27, 2018, and reply comments on or before January 28, 2019. 4. However, because the original Comment Date falls between two federal holidays, the Media Bureau, sua sponte and on delegated authority, hereby extends for good cause the Comment Date and Reply Comment Date by two weeks each to January 10, 2019 and February 11, 2019, respectively. 5. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to Section 4(i) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 154(i), and Sections 0.61, 0.283, and 1.46 of the Commission’s rules, 47 CFR §§ 0.61, 0.283, and 1.46, that the deadlines for submission of comments and reply comments in the above-captioned proceeding ARE EXTENDED to January 10, 2019 and February 11, 2019, respectively.
