Federal Communications Commission DA 18-XXXX DA 18-1224 Released: Dec. 3, 2018 NOTICE REGARDING CHANGE IN FIRST MEETING DATE OF NATIVE NATIONS COMMUNICATIONS TASK FORCE The Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) recently announced that the Native Nations Communications Task Force (Task Force) would conduct its first meeting at FCC Headquarters on December 4-5, 2018. Notice Regarding First Meeting and Ex Parte Status of Presentations, Public Notice, DA 18-1129 (Nov. 2, 2018). The Public Notice also noted that the meetings of the Task Force are not open to the public because of an exemption provided under the Unfunded Mandates Report Act (UMRA) See 2 U.S.C. §1534(b). to the requirements set forth in the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). See 5 U.S.C. App.2 In observance of the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush, the Federal Communications Commission will be closed on Dec. 5, 2018.
