On February 14, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of ES 172 LLC (Eutelsat) for modification of the authorization
for EUTELSAT 174A (formerly EUTELSAT 172A) so that the space station can operate from the 174° E.L. orbital location, with an east-west
station keeping tolerance of  +/- 0.1 degrees, using the 5925-6425 MHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and the 3700-4200
MHz, 10.95-11.20 GHz, and 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. The 12.2-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band is
authorized only for use outside United States and its Territories and Possessions. Telemetry, tracking, and command will be conducted using the
5926.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) center frequency, and the 3703.5 MHz and 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth) center frequencies.
