DA 18-506 Released: May 24, 2018 FCC ANNOUNCES THE NEXT MEETING OF THE CONSUMER ADVISORY COMMITTEE This Public Notice serves as notice that, consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App. 2. the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) announces the next meeting of the Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC or Committee). The meeting will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters, located at 445 12th Street, SW, Room TW-C305, Washington, DC 20554. At this meeting, the CAC will receive briefings from Commission staff on issues of interest to the Committee and may discuss topics including, but not limited to, consumer protection and education, consumer participation in the FCC rulemaking process, and the impact of new and emerging communication technologies. This agenda may be modified at the discretion of the CAC Chair and Designated Federal Officer (DFO). The CAC meeting will be open to the public. The FCC will accommodate as many attendees as possible; however, admittance will be limited to seating availability. The FCC will also provide audio and/or video coverage of the meeting at www.fcc.gov/live. Open captioning will be provided for this event.
