DA 18-691 Released: July 02, 2018 COMMENT DEADLINES SET FOR NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING ON AMENDMENT OF RULES REGARDING POSTING OF STATION LICENSES MB Docket Nos. 18-121 Comment Date: August 1, 2018 Reply Comment Date: August 16, 2018 On May 10, 2018, the Federal Communications Commission released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) in MB Docket No. 18-121 that proposes to eliminate or streamline provisions in Parts 0, 1, 5, 73, and 74 of the Commission’s rules which mandate posting and maintenance of broadcast licenses and authorization information in specific locations, including the physical cite of broadcast facilities. See Amendment of Parts 0, 1, 5, 73, and 74 of the Commission’s Rules Regarding Posting of Station Licenses and Related Information, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, MB Docket No. 18-121, FCC 18-61(rel. May 10, 2018). The Commission set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication of the NPRM in the Federal Register. NPRM at 1.
