Protecting Consumers from Unauthorized Carrier Changes and Related Unauthorized Charges, CG Docket No. 17-169, Report and Order, FCC 18-78 (rel. June 8, 2018) (Slamming-Cramming Order). In the Slamming-Cramming Order, the Commission stated that the new rules would become effective 30 days after the date of publication of a summary in the Federal Register. Id. at para. 41. On July 17, 2018, the Federal Register published a summary of the Slamming-Cramming Order. See 83 Fed. Reg. 33140 (July 17, 2018). Accordingly, the rules adopted therein will become effective on August 16, 2018.
