Launch and Operating Authority Granted in Part/ Deferred in Part Effective Date: 08/01/2018 Nature of Service: Earth Exploration Satellite Service On August 1, 2018, the Satellite Division issued, with conditions, a further grant in part of Astro Digital U.S. Inc.'s application to construct, deploy, and operate a constellation of satellites to provide Earth Exploration Satellite Service at orbital altitudes between 475 and 625 km. Specifically, Astro Digital was granted authority to construct, deploy, and operate up to five Landmapper-BC satellites that will operate using the 25.5-27.0 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 29.9-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and that will conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations using center frequencies at 402.9 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 400.5 MHz (space-to-Earth). Astro Digital was also authorized to operate inter-satellite links between its satellite and the Globalstar system using the 2483.5-2495 MHz and 1615-1617.775 MHz frequency bands. The Division continued to defer action on the remainder of Astro Digital's application. Page 1 of 2 SAT-STA-20180719-00054 E S2404 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 08/01/2018 On August 1, 2018, the Satellite Division granted the request of Intelsat License LLC for special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to: (1) conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift the Intelsat 805 space station from the 169.0° E.L. orbital position to the 169.1° E.L. orbital location, and to maintain it at this location using the following center frequencies: 6173.7 MHz, 6176.3 MHz, 12198.75 MHz (Earth-to-space), 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3950 MHz and 3952.0 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands; and (2) provide fixed-satellite service via Intelsat 805 in the 5850-6650 MHz, 14000-14250 MHz (Earth-to-space), 3400-4200 MHz and 12500-12750 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands once located at the 169.1° E.L. orbital location.
