DA 19-1213 November 26, 2019 FCC ANNOUNCES THE THIRD MEETING OF THE COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY, RELIABILITY, AND INTEROPERABILITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 10, 2019 AT FCC HEADQUARTERS By this Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission), consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), 5 U.S.C. App. 2. announces that the FCC’s Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council (CSRIC or Council) will meet Tuesday, December 10, 2019, beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT, in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters, located at 445 12th Street, SW, Room TW-C305, Washington, DC 20554. Notice of this meeting was published in the Federal Register on November 19, 2019. See Federal Communications Commission, Federal Advisory Committee Act; Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council, 84 Fed. Reg. 63876 (Nov. 19, 2019). At the meeting, CSRIC VII will hear presentations from each of its working group chairs on their progress thus far. CSRIC VII will also vote on the addition of updated CSRIC VI Best Practices to the Best Practice databases administered by the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) and the FCC. These updates are to ensure that the recommendations remain current in light of technological developments as well as certain non-substantive changes for accuracy. The CSRIC meeting is open to the public. The FCC will accommodate as many attendees as possible; however, admittance will be limited to seating availability. The Commission will also provide audio and/or video coverage of the meeting over the Internet from the FCC’s web page at www.fcc.gov/live. Open captioning will be provided for this event.
