ERRATUM

On August 2, 2019, the Commission released a Report and Order, FCC 19-76, in the above captioned proceeding.  This Erratum amends the Report and Order as indicated below:
1. In paragraphs 242 and 246, delete “9.14(a)(2).”
2. In Appendix C, paragraph 39, delete “9.14(a)(2).”
To conform to the publishing conventions of the National Archives and Records Administration’s Office of the Federal Register, See 1 CFR parts 18 and 21.
 this Erratum also amends Appendix A of the Report and Order as indicated below: However, as published in the Federal Register, this item will also include capitalization changes to non-defined terms and other non-substantive punctuation and font style changes that are not captured in this Erratum.
 
3. Below paragraph 1, the authority citation for part 1 is corrected to read as “Authority: 47 U.S.C. chs. 2, 5, 9, 13; 28 U.S.C. 2461 note, unless otherwise noted.”
4. Above paragraph 6, delete “PART 9 – INTERCONNECTED VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL SERVICES.”

6. Below “Subpart A – Purpose and Definitions”, insert “Sec.”
7. The rule sections listed below Part 9 in paragraph 6 are corrected as follows:
· Delete the section symbol “§”
· Correct the section heading for “9.8” to read as “Obligation of fixed telephony providers to convey dispatchable location.”
· In the section heading for “9.10,” replace “911 Service Requirements” with “911 Service.”
· In the section heading for “9.18,” add the word “service” at the end of “Emergency Call Center”.
8. Delete paragraph 7 and renumber the remaining paragraphs accordingly.
9. Section 9.3 is corrected as follows:
· In the definition of “Commercial mobile radio service (CMRS),” replace paragraph numbers (a)(1) – (3), (b), (c), and (d) with numbers (1)(i) – (iii), (2), (3), and (4); and in new paragraph (2), replace “paragraph (a)” with “paragraph (1).”
· In the definition of “Interconnected VoIP service,” add paragraph number “(1)” before “An interconnected Voice over ….;” replace the paragraph numbers (1) – (4) with roman numerals (i) – (iv); add paragraph number “(2)” before “Notwithstanding the foregoing,…;” and in new paragraph (2), replace “subsections (1)-(3) above” with “paragraphs (1)(i) through (iii) of this definition.”
10. In the definition of “Mobile service,” replace the paragraph letters (a) – (c) with numbers (1) – (3).
11. In the definition of “Private mobile radio service,” replace paragraph letters (a) – (d) with numbers (1) – (4) and correct the first two sentences to read as follows:
“A mobile service that meets neither paragraph (1) nor paragraph (2) in the definition of commercial mobile radio service in this section.  A mobile service that does not meet paragraph (1) in the definition of commercial mobile radio service in this section is presumed to be a private mobile radio service.”
12. In paragraph (a), under § 9.8, replace “one year after the effective date of this rule” with “INSERT DATE 30 DAYS AND ONE YEAR AFTER DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER” and in paragraph (b), delete “Compliance date.”
