Wireless E911 Location Accuracy Requirements, PS Docket No. 07-114, Fourth Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 19-20 (March 15, 2019) (Fourth FNPRM). The Fourth FNPRM proposed a vertical (z-axis) location accuracy metric of plus or minus 3 meters relative to the handset for 80% of indoor wireless E911 calls for each of the benchmarks and geographic requirements previously established in the Commission’s E911 wireless location accuracy rules. Id. at para. 11; see also 47 CFR § 20.18(i)(2)(ii)(C)-(E). The Fourth FNPRM set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 45 and 75 days, respectively, after publication of a summary of the Fourth FNPRM in the Federal Register. Fourth FNPRM at para. 36. On April 4, 2019, the Office of the Federal Register published a summary of the Fourth FNPRM, including the associated comment and reply comment dates. See 84 Fed. Reg. 13211 (April 4, 2019). Accordingly, comments must be filed on or before May 20, 2019, and reply comments must be filed on or before June 18, 2019. Id. The Fourth FNPRM contains the comment filing instructions.
