SAT-MOD-20190314-00015 E S3032 BlackSky Global, LLC Modification 12/28/2018 - 12/28/2033 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/16/2019 Nature of Service: Earth Exploration Satellite Service On May 16, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of BlackSky Global LLC to modify its authority to construct, deploy and operate a non-geostationary orbit Earth Exploration Satellite Service constellation consisting of the Global-1, -2, -3, & -4 space stations. Specifically, BlackSky's authority was modified to include (i) a change in the propulsion system to be employed for Global-4 from a butane-based to water-based system; and (ii) authority to construct, deploy, and operate a constellation of up to 4 NGSO space stations, initially deployed to orbital apogee altitudes ranging from 435 km to 585 km and with inclinations ranging from 42 degrees to polar sun-synchronous (nominal 98 degrees). INFORMATIVE SAT-LOA-20180320-00023 S3032 BlackSky Global, LLC The Satellite Division has determined that BlackSky Global LLC has met the launch and begin operations milestone associated with its grant of authority to construct, deploy and operate a constellation of up to four non-geostationary orbit space stations, called Global 1-4 (Call Sign S3032), and may release the bond associated with this authorization.
