PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES
REGION 1 (ALABAMA) REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHZ AND 
800 MHZ PLANNING MEETING

Gen. Docket 90-280 and WT Docket 02-378

The Region 1 (Alabama) 700 MHz and 800 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) will hold a planning meeting on Sunday, October 13, 2019, 1:00 p.m.  The meeting will be located at the Perdido Beach Resort, 27200 Perdido Beach Boulevard, Orange Beach, AL 36561.

The agenda for the meeting includes:

· Call to order
· Approval of Minutes – Meeting of October 14, 2018
· Treasurer Report
· 700 MHz and 800 MHz Plan Status 
· Subcommittee Reports 
o Technical Subcommittee 
o Writing Subcommittee
· General Discussion
· Meeting adjourned

The Region 1 700 MHz and 800 MHz RPC meeting is open to the public. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 90.523, be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs.
