SAT-STA-20191230-00155 E S2983 Space Exploration Holdings, LLC Special Temporary Authority Granted in Part/ Deferred in Part Effective Date: 01/02/2020 On January 17, 2020. the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 60 days to Space Exploration Holdings, LLC (SpaceX) to conduct Launch and Early Orbit-Phase (LEOP) operations to (1) to perform telemetry, tracking, and command functions necessary for orbit-raising of each of the satellites to be launched during this period; and (2) to test the communications payload on each of the satellites. SpaceX will use the following frequencies for telemetry, tracking, and command: 12.15-12.25 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 13.85-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space).
