Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/02/2020 On November 2, 2020, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority, for a period of 30 days, to Sirius XM Radio Inc. to: (1) conduct in-orbit testing (IOT) of the SXM-7 space station at the 120.5° W.L. orbital location rather than the 120.0° W.L. orbital location; (2) conduct IOT in the 2315-2320 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 2345-2350 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, in addition to the 2320-2345 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 7025-7075 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands previously authorized for operations with SXM-7; and (3) perform telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) operations necessary to maintain SXM-7 at the 120.5° W.L. orbital location and drift SXM-7 to its assigned orbital location at 85.15° W.L. upon completion of IOT.
