Securus requests an immediate waiver from the application of Universal Service Fund (USF) contribution obligations as set forth in Section 54.706 of the Commission’s rules with respect to inmate calling services (ICS) providers on an interim basis. Id. at 1, 4-6. Securus also requests that the Commission expeditiously grant the petition for forbearance filed by Network Communications International Corporation in order to extend relief from USF contribution obligations to ICS providers on a permanent basis. Id. Pursuant to sections 1.415 and 1.419 of the Commission’s rules, 47 CFR §§ 1.415, 1.419, interested parties may file comments or oppositions to the Securus Waiver Request on or before April 10, 2020 and reply comments on or before April 17, 2020.
