	By this Public Notice, the Wireline Competition Bureau announces that comments in response to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (Notice) in the Eliminating Ex Ante Pricing Regulation and Tariffing of Telephone Access Charges proceeding are due no later than July 6, 2020, and reply comments are due no later than August 5, 2020. Eliminating Ex Ante Pricing Regulation and Tariffing of Telephone Access Charges, WC Docket No. 20-71, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 20-40 (Apr. 1, 2020) (Notice).  The document is available on the Commission’s website at https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/FCC-20-40A1.pdf.   In the Notice, the Commission seeks comment on a number of proposals to eliminate ex ante pricing regulation and tariffing of all “Telephone Access Charges,” which represent the last handful of interstate end-user charges that remain subject to regulation. Notice at 13-21, paras. 36-60.
  The Notice also seeks comment on a proposal prohibiting all carriers from separately listing Telephone Access Charges on customers’ telephone bills after these charges are deregulated and detariffed. Notice at 21-23, paras. 61-67.

	The Notice set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 45 and 75 days after the summary of the Notice is published in the Federal Register, Notice at 1.
