FCC ANNOUNCES THE FIFTH MEETING OF THE COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY, RELIABILITY, AND INTEROPERABILITY COUNCIL VII ON JUNE 10, 2020

By this Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission), consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA),  5 U.S.C. App. 2.
 announces that the FCC’s Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council VII (CSRIC VII or Council) will meet Wednesday, June 10, 2020, beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT, via conference call and available to the public via the Internet at http://www.fcc.gov/live.  Notice of this meeting was published in the Federal Register on May 13, 2020. See Federal Communications Commission, Federal Advisory Committee Act; Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council, 85 Fed. Reg. 28637  (May 13, 2020).  



At the June meeting, CSRIC VII members will consider and vote on a Report on Risks to 5G From Legacy Vulnerabilities and Best Practices for Mitigation from working group 2.  CSRIC VII will also receive progress updates from its working groups. 

The meeting is being held in a wholly electronic format in light of restrictions on group gatherings and travel related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The CSRIC VII meeting is open to the public on the Internet via live feed from the FCC’s web page at www.fcc.gov/live.  The public may submit questions after the meeting to CSRIC@fcc.gov.
