AUCTION 904 SHORT-FORM APPLICATION FILING WINDOW OPEN; 
CLOSES 6:00 P.M. EDT JULY 15, 2020

The Rural Broadband Auctions Task Force, the Office of Economics and Analytics, and the Wireline Competition Bureau announce the opening of the window for entities to file the short-form application (FCC Form 183) to participate in Auction 904 (Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Phase I). See Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Phase I Auction Scheduled for October 29, 2020; Notice and Filing Requirements and Other Procedures for Auction 904, Public Notice, FCC 20-77 (June 11, 2020) (Auction 904 Procedures Public Notice). 
  
The Auction 904 application window opened at 12:00 noon EDT on July 1, 2020.  The Auction 904 application window will close at 6:00 pm EDT on July 15, 2020.  All entities seeking to participate in Auction 904 must complete a short-form application by the close of the application window.  Interested entities are encouraged to certify and submit their application well in advance of the deadline.  Late applications will not be accepted.
The short form application and instructions are available on the Auction 904 website (www.fcc.gov/auction/904).  When filling out FCC Form 183, it is essential that an applicant closely follows these instructions as well as the short-form application procedures set forth in the Auction 904 Procedures Public Notice.  In addition, an online tutorial is available to assist applicants in completing their short-form applications. See id. at 66-67, paras. 191-93.
  This tutorial is accessible on the Auction 904 website through a link under the Education tab.  
Finally, we remind potential applicants that additional guidance, data, and information related to Auction 904 is also available on the Auction 904 website: www.fcc.gov/auction/904. Typically, the Commission makes paper copies of documents available at its headquarters.  However, the Commission’s headquarters is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
