Implementation of the National Suicide Hotline Improvement Act of 2018 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, WC Docket No. 18-336, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 19-128 (rel. Dec. 16, 2019) (Notice). In the Notice, the Commission seeks comment on its proposal to designate 988 as a simple, easy-to-remember, 3-digit dialing code for a national suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline. Notice at paras. 25-32. The Notice set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 60 days after the date of publication of a summary of the Notice in the Federal Register. Id. at 1.
