DA 20-81 Released: January 21, 2020 FCC ANNOUNCES NEXT MEETING OF CONSUMER ADVISORY COMMITTEE By this Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) announces the next meeting of the Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC or Committee), consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. 5 U.S.C. App. 2. The meeting will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters, located at 445 12th Street, SW, Room TW-C305, Washington, DC 20554. At its February 13, 2020 meeting, the Committee is expected to consider a recommendation presented by one of its working groups. The CAC Robocall Report Working Group will present a recommendation on the gathering of data and/or sources of data relating to the availability and effectiveness of call blocking tools, as described in paragraphs 88 to 90 of the Commission’s Declaratory Ruling and Third Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in Advanced Methods to Target and Eliminate Unlawful Robocalls; Call Authentication Trust Anchor. This is a special meeting to consider this recommendation, and there will be no other action items on the meeting agenda. A limited amount of time will be available for comments from the public.
