Notice of Effective Date of Revised Leased Access Rules

On July 16, 2020, the Commission adopted the Leased Access Second Report and Order, which updated the Commission’s leased access rules. Leased Commercial Access; Modernization of Media Regulation Initiative, FCC 20-95 (2020) (Leased Access Second Report and Order).
  Those rules become effective 30 days after publication of the order in the Federal Register. See id. at ¶ 21.
  The Federal Register published a summary of the Leased Access Second Report and Order on August 20, 2020. Federal Communications Commission, Leased Commercial Access; Modernization of Media Regulation Initiative, 85 Fed. Reg. 51363 (August 20, 2020).
  Accordingly, the rules adopted in the Leased Access Second Report and Order will take effect on September 21, 2020.
