App. 2. the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) announces the next meeting of the North American Numbering Council (NANC). The meeting will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020, beginning at 9:30 a.m., via conference call and available to the public via the Internet at http://www.fcc.gov/live. At this meeting, the NANC will consider and vote on a recommendation from the Call Authentication Trust Anchor Working Group on best practices that providers of voice service may use as part of the implementation of effective call authentication frameworks to ensure the calling party is accurately identified. These recommendations will facilitate the Commission’s implementation of the Pallone-Thune Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence Act (TRACED Act). The NANC will also discuss the status of its working groups. This agenda may be modified at the discretion of the NANC Chair and the Designated Federal Officer (DFO). The NANC meeting is open to the public on the Internet via live feed from the FCC’s web page at http://www.fcc.gov/live. Open captioning will be provided for this event.
