REGARDING SIM SWAPPING AND PORTING FRAUD

	By this Public Notice, the Wireline Competition Bureau announces that comments in response to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) regarding SIM swapping and port-out fraud are due no later than November 15, 2021, and reply comments are due no later than December 14, 2021. Protecting Consumers from SIM Swap and Port-Out Fraud, WC Docket No. 21-341, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 21-102 (rel. Sept. 30, 2021) (NPRM).  
  
	The NPRM set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 60 days, respectively, after a summary of the item is published in the Federal Register. Id. 
  The Federal Register published that summary on October 15, 2021. Protecting Consumers from SIM Swap and Port-Out Fraud, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, 86 Fed. Reg. 57390 (Oct. 15, 2021) (Federal Register Notice).
