DA 21-264 Released: March 4, 2021 ACCESSIBILITY RECORDKEEPING COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION REPORTING REQUIREMENTS CG Docket No. 10-213 The Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) reminds service providers and equipment manufacturers that are subject to section 255, 716, or 718 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (the Act), 47 U.S.C. §§ 255, 617, 619; see also 47 CFR pts. 6, 7, 14. These provisions govern accessibility requirements for telecommunications services and equipment, advanced communications services and equipment, and Internet browsers built into mobile phones. of their obligation to maintain records of their efforts to implement these requirements. 47 U.S.C. § 618(a)(5)(A); see also 47 CFR §§ 14.30(b), 14.31(a). The Commission also reminds these entities of their obligation to file their annual recordkeeping compliance certifications and required contact information no later than April 1, 2021, 47 CFR § 14.31(b)(3). in the Recordkeeping Compliance Certification and Contact Information Registry (RCCCI Registry), a web-based system designed to facilitate compliance with these obligations arising under section 717 of the Act. 47 U.S.C. § 618; see also 47 CFR § 14.31(b).
