Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 04/22/2021 On April 22, 2021, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to Maxar License Inc. to operate the WorldView-4 space station at an altitude between 100 kilometers and 400 kilometers, instead of its currently authorized altitude range of 350 kilometers to 450 kilometers. Maxar is authorized to operate the WorldView-4 space station in the earth exploration satellite service using the 8025-8400 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band and to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations using a 120 kHz channel centered on 8386 MHz (space-to-Earth) and a 64 kHz channel centered on 2052 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20210406-00046 E AMSC-1 Ligado Networks Subsidiary LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 04/19/2021 On April 19, 2021, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Ligado Networks Subsidary LLC for special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to drift MSAT-2 to, and to operate at, the 107.5° W.L. orbital location, to provide mobile-satellite service using the following frequency bands: 1530-1544 MHz, 1545-1559 MHz (space-to-Earth), 1631.5-1645.5 MHz and 1646.5-1660.5 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.75-10.95 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 13.0-13.25 GHz (Earth-to-space). Ligado also proposes to use the following frequencies for telemetry, tracking and command: 11.7005 GHz, 11.701 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0005 GHz and 14.4995 GHz (Earth-to-space), and beacon frequencies of 10.7535 GHz (primary) and 10.751 GHz (backup).
