COMMENT DATES FOR THE VRS COMPENSATION NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING

On May 21, 2021, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) seeking comment on Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) Fund compensation for providers of video relay service (VRS). Telecommunications Relay Services and Speech-to-Speech Services for Individuals with Hearing and Speech Disabilities; Structure and Practices of the Video Relay Service Program, CG Docket Nos. 03-123 and 10-51, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Order, FCC 21-61 (May 21, 2021).  
  According to the NPRM, comments are due 30 days after publication in the Federal Register, and reply comments are due 45 days after such publication. Id. at 19, para. 48. 

A summary of the NPRM was published in the Federal Register on June 4, 2021 that inadvertently omitted the due dates for comments and reply comments. FCC, Video Relay Service Compensation, 86 Fed. Reg. 29969 (June 4, 2021).
  
On June 15, 2021, a correction to the summary was published in the Federal Register, which provides that comments on the NPRM must be filed on or before July 15, 2021 and reply comments must be filed on or before July 30, 2021. FCC, Video Relay Service Compensation Correction, 86 Fed. Reg. 31668 (June 15, 2021).
