SAT-MOD-20200805-00091 E S3016 Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Modification Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/20/2021 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On January 20, 2021, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession, for modification of its license for the Galaxy 30 space station operations at the 125.0° W.L. orbital location. The licensed is modified Intelsat is authorized to update the frequencies specified for used by Galaxy 30 for its telemetry, tracking and command functions to the following: 6421.75 MHz, 6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space); 4197.5 MHz, and 4198.5 MHz (space-to-Earth). The license is also modified Intelsat is also authorized to update the frequency bands specified for used by Galaxy 30 for its Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) payload to the following: 6598.58-6618.58 MHz, 6649.73-6669.73 MHz (Earth-to-space), 1166.45-1186.45 MHz and 1565.42-1585.42 MHz (space-to-Earth). Additionally, Intelsat is authorized to use the 27.6-28.6 GHz frequency band instead of the 27.5-28.6 GHz frequency band to provide fixed-satellite service. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/15/2021 On January 15, 2021, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to Maxar License Inc., formerly known as DG Consents Sub, Inc., to operate the WorldView-4 space station at an altitude between 350 kilometers and 450 kilometers, instead of its currently authorized altitude of 496 kilometers and 770 kilometers. Maxar License Inc. is authorized to operate the WorldView-4 space station in the earth exploration satellite service using the 8025-8400 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band and to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations using a 120 kHz channel centered on 8386 MHz (space-to-Earth) and a 64 kHz channel centered on 2052 MHz (Earth-to-space).
