DA 21-884 Released: July 22, 2021 BROADBAND DATA TASK FORCE ANNOUNCES WEBINAR ON PROPOSALS FOR BROADBAND DATA COLLECTION MOBILE CHALLENGE, VERIFICATION, AND CROWDSOURCE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS WC Docket No. 19-195 The FCC’s Broadband Data Task Force (Task Force) will host a virtual webinar on Thursday, August 12, 2021, starting at 2:00 p.m. EDT to provide information about the proposed technical requirements for the mobile challenge, verification, and crowdsourcing processes required under the Broadband DATA Act. The webinar will be streamed live at www.fcc.gov/live. During the webinar, staff will provide an overview of the proposals in the recently released Public Notice on this topic and be available to answer participant questions. Comment Sought on Technical Requirements for the Mobile Challenge, Verification, and Crowdsource Processes Required Under the Broadband DATA Act, Public Notice, WC Docket No. 19-195, DA 21-853 (WTB, OEA, OET July 16, 2021) (Technical Requirements Public Notice). The Technical Requirements Public Notice is an important step in the Commission’s Broadband Data Collection effort to improve the quality of mobile broadband coverage data the Commission collects and makes available to the public.
