On July 13, 2022, the Commission released a Sixth Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) seeking comment in MB Docket No. 03-185 and MB Docket No. 22-261 on proposals to update rules previously applicable to analog low power television (LPTV) and TV translator service operations in light of the transition to digital operations, and certain other technical, procedural, and other updates to LPTV/TV translator rules. See Amendment of Parts 73 and 74 of the Commission’s Rules to Establish Rules for Digital Low Power Television and Television Translator Stations, Update of Parts 74 of the Commission’s Rules Related to Low Power Television and Television Translator Stations, Order and Sixth Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 22-58 (rel. July 13, 2022) (NPRM); Erratum, FCC 22-58 (rel. Sept. 9, 2022).
  The Commission set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication of the NPRM in the Federal Register. NPRM at 1.
   

The summary of the NPRM was published in the Federal Register on September 23, 2022. 87 FR 58207 (9/23/22).
  Accordingly, comments are due on or before October 24, 2022, Because the 30th day after the date the summary was published in the Federal Register is Sunday, October 23, 2022, the deadline for filing comments is the next business day, Monday, October 24, 2022.  See 47 CFR § 1.4.
 and reply comments on or before November 7, 2022.  Commenters should follow the filing instructions provided in the NPRM. See NPRM at n.1 and para. 30.
