App. 2. this Public Notice announces the February 23, 2022, meeting of the Federal Communications Commission’s (Commission) Communications Equity and Diversity Council (CEDC or Council). Notice of this meeting was published in the Federal Register on February 4, 2022, available at https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2022/02/04/2022-02335/meeting-of-the-communications-equity-and-diversity-council.   The CEDC meeting will be held virtually, beginning at 10:00 a.m. EDT, and will be available to the public for viewing via the Internet at http://www.fcc.gov/live. The agenda for the meeting is attached and will include a discussion of the proposed workstreams for the three CEDC working groups (Innovation and Access, Digital Empowerment and Inclusion, and Diversity and Equity) during the two-year charter. Chairwoman Rosenworcel has appointed an additional member of the Council, Raúl Alarcón, Chairman and CEO, Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. Additionally, the following individuals have resigned from the CEDC: Tripp Crouse, Jorge Figueredo, and Felicia West. The workstreams will provide a roadmap for how each working group will support the Council’s mission to make recommendations to the Commission on advancing equity in the provision of, and access to, digital communication services and products for all people of the United States, without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or disability. This agenda may be modified at the discretion of the CEDC Chair and the Designated Federal Officer.   The CEDC meeting will be convened in an online format and will be available to the public via live feed from the FCC’s web page at www.fcc.gov/live.
