SAT-LOA-20210107-00004 E S3078 Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Launch and Operating Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 02/28/2022 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On February 28, 2022, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession, to launch and operate Galaxy 32 at the 91.0° W.L. orbital location, in order to provide fixed-satellite service (FSS) in the 3700-4200 MHz and 11.45-11.701 GHz (space-to-earth), and 5925-6425 MHz and 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Galaxy 32 will serve as a replacement for Galaxy 17 (call sign S2715) in the 3700-4200 and 5925-6425 MHz frequency bands. Galaxy 32 will conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations using the following frequencies: 4198.25 MHz, 4198.75 MHz, 4199.95 MHz, 11700.25 MHz (space-to-Earth); 6422.0 MHz, and 6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20210922-00127 E Spaceflight, Inc. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/02/2022 On March 2, 2022, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Spaceflight, Inc. to deploy and operate a non-geostationary spacecraft, to be known as Sherpa-FX5, for a period not to exceed 36 hours. Sherpa-FX5 will be placed in sun synchronous orbit (SSO) at an altitude of 500 km ± 25 km, at an inclination of 97.59 degrees, and will deploy up to eight spacecraft during a six-hour period. SAT-STA-20220222-00021 E Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/03/2022 On March 3, 2022, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for an additional period of 30 days to Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession, to operate Horizons 2 at the 84.85º E.L. orbital location. The Horizons 2 space station operates at 84.85º E.L. in the communications frequencies of 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space). Horizons 2 conducts telemetry, tracking, and command operations using the following center frequencies: 12196.0 MHz; 12198.625 MHz (space-to-Earth), 14000.5 MHz and 14499.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
