Federal Communications Commission DA 22-462 DA 22-462 Released: May 04, 2022 WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU GRANTS AUCTION 110 LICENSES Auction No. 110 By this Public Notice, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) announces the grant of 23 long-form applications and issuance of 4,041 licenses, which reflects all long-form applications and licenses for Auction 110. On January 4, 2022, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) completed the auction of licenses in the 3.45-3.55 GHz (3.45 GHz) band, and the Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA) and WTB announced the results of that auction on January 14, 2022. Auction of Flexible-Use Service Licenses in the 3.45-3.55 GHz Band Closes; Winning Bidders Announced for Auction 110, AU Docket No. 21-62, Public Notice, DA 22-39 (OEA & WTB Jan. 14, 2022). This auction raised a total of $22,418,284,236 in net bids ($22,513,601,811 in gross bids), with 23 bidders winning a total of 4,041 licenses. “Gross bids” refers to the total amount of winning bids at the close of bidding and does not reflect any small business or rural service provider bidding credits claimed by eligible winning bidders. “Net bids” refers to the total amount of winning bids as adjusted for any small business or rural service provider bidding credits claimed by winning bidders. Long-form applications for licenses won in Auction 110 were due on January 31, 2022. WTB accepted Auction 110 applications for filing on February 23, 2022. Wireless Telecommunications Bureau Announces that Applications for Auction 110 Licenses Are Accepted for Filing, Public Notice, DA 22-177 (WTB Feb. 23, 2022). Upon further review and examination, WTB finds the applications for the licenses listed in Attachment A to be complete and in conformance with the Commission’s rules. We find that granting the applications for the licenses listed in Attachment A serves the public interest, convenience, and necessity. Furthermore, the Commission has received full payment for the licenses listed in Attachment A, as required by section 1.2109(a) of its rules. 47 CFR § 1.2109(a). Accordingly, by this Public Notice, we announce the grant of the licenses listed in Attachment A. We grant these licenses pursuant to section 309(a) of the Communications Act, 47 U.S.C. § 309(a), and sections 0.131 and 0.331 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.131, 0.331. We remind licensees that the 3.45 GHz Second Report and Order established that new 3.45 GHz Service licensees must reimburse the reasonable relocation costs of incumbent secondary, non-federal radiolocation users to transition out of the band.
