Nos. 20-401, 17-105, Public Notice, DA 22-429 (Public Notice). seeking public comment on recently filed technical information and other documents submitted after the March 12, 2021, close of the comment period in this proceeding, which concerns the proposed limited use of FM booster stations to allow for geo-targeted content. Amendment of Section 74.1231(i) of the Commission’s Rules on FM Broadcast Booster Stations, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, 35 FCC Rcd 14213 (2020) (NPRM) (Geo-targeted content is that which can be heard only within that portion of an FM station’s total service area covered by the signal of a co-channel FM booster station.); Comment and Reply Comment Dates Set For FM Broadcast Booster Stations NPRM, Public Notice, 36 FCC Rcd 30 (2021). The Public Notice set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication of the Public Notice in the Federal Register. By this Public Notice, the Media Bureau announces that the Public Notice was published in the Federal Register on May 5, 2022.
