Embratel TVSAT Telecomunicacoes S.A has surrendered its grant of U.S. market access for the Star One C1 satellite operating at the 65° W.L. orbital location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Embratel's Star One C2 satellite is authorized to operate at 65° W.L. using the 11.7-12.2 GHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz bands (SAT-MPL-20210824-00108) therefore, the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequencies at the 65° W.L. orbital location are now available for reassignment effective 2:00 pm EDT on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 pursuant to the Commission's first-come, first-served licensing process. Applicants may file applications for new space stations, market access by non-U.S. licensed space stations, modifications to licensed space stations, or amendments to pending applications that take this surrender into account. Applications for the spectrum filed prior to this date and time will be dismissed as premature without prejudice to refiling.
