SAT-A/O-20210608-00076 E S3093 EchoStar BSS Corporation Authorization to Operate Effective Date: Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On January 26, 2022, the Satellite Division granted Echostar BSS Corporation (DISH) authority to operate Echostar 23 as an on-orbit spare at the 109.9 degrees W.L. orbital location and activate its transponders as needed, upon notification to the Satellite Division. DISH will operate Echostar 23 to provide Digital Broadcast Satellite Service using the following frequency bands: 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space), and will conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations with Echostar 23 at 109.9 degrees W.L. using the following center frequencies: 12.207 GHz, 12.208 GHz; 12.200-12.205 and 12.205-12.210 GHz (tunable "flex" transmitters) (space-to-Earth); and 17.305 GHz, 17.791 GHz, and 17.300-17.305 GHz and 17.305-17.310 GHz (tunable "flex" receivers) (Earth-to-space). SAT-MOD-20210205-00016 E S2387 Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Modification Effective Date: Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On January 26, 2022, the Satellite Division modified the license of Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession, for the Galaxy 15 satellite to extend the license to December 31, 2023. Galaxy 15 operates in the fixed-satellite service in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat conducts telemetry, tracking and command operations for the Galaxy 15 satellite using the following center frequencies: 4198.0 MHz, 4199.875 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 6420.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). The Satellite Division also granted Intelsat an extension of previously-granted waivers of sections 25.114(d)(14)(ii) and 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules, relating to the spacecraft's end of life processes. SAT-STA-20211208-00187 E S2423 Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/27/2022 On January 27, 2022, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession, to operate Horizons 2 at the 84.85º E.L. orbital location. The Horizons 2 space station operates at 84.85º E.L. in the communications frequencies of 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space). Horizons 2 conducts telemetry, tracking, and command operations using the following center frequencies: 12196.0 MHz; 12198.625 MHz (space-to-Earth), 14000.5 MHz and 14499.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
