Modification Granted in Part/ Deferred in Part Effective Date: 03/03/2023 Nature of Service: Earth Exploration Satellite Service, Other On March 3, 2023, the Satellite Division granted in part the request of Hawkeye360, Inc. for modification of its license for a non-geostationary satellite orbit constellation. The Division modified the license to specify, for three satellites identified as Cluster 7: (1) additional antennas capable of receiving signals in certain UHF frequencies (250-350 MHz); (2) a change in the authorized satellite operational altitude range from 500-615 km to 475-615 km; and (3) use of a water-based propulsion system. SAT-MPL-20221018-00144 E S3043 SES-17 S.a r.l. Modification to PDR/PPL Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/09/2023 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On March 9, 2023, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of SES-17 S.a.r.l. for modification of the grant of U.S. market access for the Luxembourg-licensed SES-17 satellite, which operates from the 67.1º W.L. orbital location. The Satellite Division modified the grant of market access to reflect repointing of the satellite's field of view beams that operate in the 29.3-29.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 19.3-19.4 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20230202-00018 E SES Americom, Inc. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/03/2023 On March 3, 2023, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of SES Americom, Inc. for 60-day special temporary authority for SES-18 to use the 6415-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 4190-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands for telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C). The TT&C frequencies will support launch and early orbit phase testing, and regular operations. SES-18 will operate from the 103.05° W.L. orbital location using the 3.7-4.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 5.925-6.425 (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20230202-00019 E SES Americom, Inc.
