Incarcerated People’s Communications Services; Implementation of the Martha Wright-Reed Act; Rates for Interstate Inmate Calling Services, WC Docket Nos. 23-62, 12-375, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Order, FCC 23-19 (rel. Mar. 17, 2023) (Notice). The Notice, which seeks comment on matters related to implementing the new Act and establishing just and reasonable rates and charges for incarcerated people’s communications services, requires that comments and reply comments be filed no later than 30 days and 60 days after publication in the Federal Register. See id. at 1. On April 7, 2023, the Federal Register published a summary of the Notice, establishing May 8, 2023, as the deadline for comments and June 6, 2023, as the deadline for reply comments.
