SAT-STA-20230707-00163 E S2382 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 07/25/2023 On July 25, 2023, the Satellite Policy and Programs Division granted, with conditions, the request of Intelsat License LLC for special temporary authority for an additional period of 60 days to operate Intelsat 10 at the 177.8° E.L. orbital location. The Intelsat 10 space station operates in the 3700-4200 MHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz, 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 5925-6425 MHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat conducts telemetry, tracking, and command operations with Intelsat 10 using the following center frequencies: 11699.0 MHz, 12747.5 MHz, 12748.5 MHz, and 12749.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 14000.5 MHz and 14499.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). Specifically, the Division granted special temporary authority to BlackSky to operate in the earth exploration-satellite service and to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command with the Global 7 and Global 8 satellites at altitudes between 340 km and 385 km. SAT-STA-20230718-00176 E S2715 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 07/25/2023 On July 25, 2023, the Satellite Programs and Policy Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for an additional period of up to 30 days for Intelsat to operate the Galaxy 17 space station's Ku-band beams over a new coverage area from the 85.0° W.L. orbital location. Galaxy 17 operates in the fixed-satellite service using the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) bands, and uses the following center frequencies for telemetry, tracking, and command: 4197.125 MHz and 4198.875 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 5925.5 MHz and 6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
