ANNOUNCEMENT OF COMMENT AND REPLY COMMENT DATES FOR 
CLOSED CAPTIONING DISPLAY SETTINGS PUBLIC NOTICE

On January 24, 2023, the Media Bureau released a Public Notice seeking comment on a proposal in the record of this proceeding that when the Commission is determining whether specific closed captioning display settings are readily accessible, it should consider the following factors:  proximity, discoverability, previewability, and consistency and persistence. Media Bureau Seeks Comment on Closed Captioning Display Settings Proposal, Public Notice, MB Docket No. 12-108, DA 23-66 (rel. Jan. 24, 2023) (Closed Captioning Display Settings PN).
  The Closed Captioning Display Settings PN set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication of the Closed Captioning Display Settings PN in the Federal Register. Id. at 1.

By this Public Notice, the Media Bureau announces that the Closed Captioning Display Settings PN was published in the Federal Register on February 1, 2023. Closed Captioning Display Settings Proposal, Notice, 88 Fed. Reg. 6725 (Feb. 1, 2023). 
  Comments must be submitted no later than March 3, 2023.  Reply Comments must be submitted no later than March 20, 2023.  Commenters should review the filing requirements provided in the Closed Captioning Display Settings PN. Closed Captioning Display Settings PN at 3.
