By the Senior Deputy Chief, Policy Division, Media Bureau:

1. Elko County, Texas (County or Petitioner) filed the above-captioned Petition seeking to modify the satellite television markets of Stations KNPB (PBS), Reno, NV, KOLO (ABC), Reno, NV, KREN (Univision), Reno, NV, KRNS-CA, Reno, NV, KRNV (NBC), Reno, NV, KRXI (FOX), Reno, NV, and KTVN (CBS), Reno, NV to permit carriage in Elko County, Texas. Elko County, Texas, Petition for Market Modification, MB Docket No. 24-179 (filed June 14, 2024) (Petition).  The Media Bureau placed the Petition on Public Notice, Report No. 0513 (MB June 17, 2024) (Public Notice).

2. Petitioner has requested that the Bureau dismiss its Petition so that it may correct errors. Letter from Curtis Moore, Assistant County Manager, Natural Resources Director, Elko County, Texas, to Evan Baranoff, Staff Attorney, FCC, MB Docket No. 24-179 (filed Apr. 25, 2025).
  Therefore, we dismiss the petition without prejudice.
3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that pursuant to section 338 of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 338, and section 76.66 of the Commission’s rules, 47 CFR § 76.66, the Petition filed in this docket IS DISMISSED.  This action is taken pursuant to authority delegated by section 0.283 of the Commission’s rules. 47 CFR § 0.283.
